Frensham Heights is one of those wedding venues that leaves you a little inspired. Frensham Heights is a school nestled with an incredible backdrop of the Surrey Hills. Nothing prepared me for the sheer beauty of Frensham Heights.
The Tudor style main house is the building for Bridget and Michael’s wedding. Set in 120 acres of exclusive land to this lovely couple – it feels more of an intimate wedding venue that it sounds.
Bridget had her Bridal preparation that morning in The Drawing Room. With it’s wonderful high ceilings and huge windows overlooking the Surrey Hills, it’s a breathtaking way to get ready on the morning of your wedding day.
The Ballroom with it’s Grand Piano is decorated in Louis XVI style, with its coved ceiling, fireplace and ornamental frieze, it is truly a magical space. This is where Bridget and Micjhael were to have their wedding reception.
This wedding venue gives you the very best of both worlds. A vast amount of exclusive space to enjoy your day with friends and family. Intimate spaces inside that transport you back in time, boasting intricate ornate period features, the rooms will wrap you in history. Listen for the echoes of lavish Edwardian house parties in this very elegant setting.
The ceremony was beautiful and the weather held out for a cracking wedding reception.
The newlyweds and I took some moments throughout the day and evening for some time alone and to capture some candid photographs of them both. I really prefer taking couples for ‘pockets’ of time rather than a whole hour at a time. I feel couples are more relaxed and don’t spend too long away from their guests.
Also, but taking the couple away for shorter periods it helps take advantage of the different types of light throughout the day.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Kelly, you were both amazing to work with! Here are a selection of my favourite images from a very special day…..enjoy x
