An intimate wedding at Marylebone Town Hall

Marylebone Town Hall is a real favourite of mine when it comes to weddings. Marylebone Town Hall has undergone a huge refurbishment and all seven of their ceremony rooms are divine.

Susie and Nga had chosen the intimate Soho Room at Marylebone Town Hall for their civil ceremony. They have been together as a couple for seven years and decided to tie the knot! They were staying in style at the Shangri-La at The Shard the night before their wedding. With an intimate selection of just twenty of their closest friends and family it was a beautiful and emotional ceremony.

Susie looked stunning in a two piece from House of Ollichon teamed with lush Jimmy Choo kitten heels. Nga went for the most awesome Hugo Boss white suit. Both looked stunning on their wedding day. These ladies have to be the best dressed same sex couple I know on their wedding day!

Keeping it real, they opted for a meal at The Little Viet Kitchen in Islington. I have eaten at these amazing restaurant before and know it well. The owners of The Little Viet Kitchen have an award winning cookery book, change the lives of their community and cook the most delicious Vietnamese food.

This is the first time they have held a wedding reception at The Little Viet Kitchen and they all did a fabulous job.

Susie, Nga and I took some moments throughout the day and evening for some time alone and to capture some candid photographs of them both. I really prefer taking couples for ‘pockets’ of time rather than a whole hour at a time. I feel couples are more relaxed and don’t spend too long away from their guests.

Also, but taking the couple away for shorter periods it helps take advantage of the different types of light throughout the day. Congratulations Susie and Nga, you were both a joy to work with!

Here are a selection of my favourite images from a very special day…..enjoy x
