An outstanding Autumnal Wedding at Clock Barn Hampshire

Clock Barn is a gorgeous rural barn set in the rolling fields in Hampshire. An outstanding Autumnal Wedding at Clock Barn Hampshire. I am so fortunate to see some incredible places where couples get married. Clock Barn is really one of those places that you see on television – so quaint and utterly English!

Mat and Lou chose this exquisite venue for their wedding day and it was a cracker.

I met this lovely couple for their pre wedding photoshoot at the start of 2019. I knew how excitable they both were about getting married. Lou’s attention to detail about her day was unrivalled. Mat popped the question in Windsor Great Park – and this is where they chose to have their pre wedding photoshoot. It was a great way to get to know Mat and Lou a little bit better before their big day – and take some photographs of them as an engaged couple. Forward wind seven months and their wedding day at Clock Barn came around quickly.

The first thing that struck me when I entered Clock Barn was the amazing flowers that were decorating the barn by Harrison and Green – simply stunning work.

Lou was getting ready with her friends and family and the sight of her stunning wedding gown by Pronovias from Bridal Gowns of Hungerford was gorgeous.

Lou looked amazing and the wedding ceremony was not only beautiful, but suited this couple so very well. We had a short downpour and then the weather cleared. This gave us a great opportunity to get out into the rural surroundings for photographs with the newly weds. I really prefer taking couples for ‘pockets’ of time rather than a whole hour at a time. I feel couples are more relaxed and don’t spend too long away from their guests. After all, when you are just married you want to mingle and enjoy your reception before you sit down for your wedding breakfast. Also, but taking the newly weds for shorter periods it helps take advantage of the different types of light throughout the day. You can see the different light in some of my chosen images for this blog what a difference the timing makes.

This whole day, combined with an amazing couple (who were totally meant to be together) was fabulous. I will always remember Lou’s nan ‘Eileen’ having the time of her life on the dancefloor!

Congratulations Lou and Mat, you were both amazing to work with and totally rocked your wedding day. Here are a selection of my favourite images from a very special day…..enjoy x
