I adore Cannizaro House having lived in Wimbledon years ago, I used to watch Jazz of a summers evening here. Allison and Sean chose this stunning venue for both their ceremony and their reception, and being Scottish there was a real flavour of this running through the day. Working with the superstar photographer Nadine Van Bilijon I was with Sean in the morning with his best man Ian and his nephew Kieran, who was a cheeky little chappie.
Cannizaro House is filled with light and the grounds made a superb backdrop to this great wedding. The sun was shining all day and we managed to take all photos of family and friends outside. Being Scottish, bagpipes were playing as Allison made her way into the room!
Keiran had the job of keeping hold of the rings until that all important point in the ceremony, he did a fantatsic job! Allison looked absolutely stunning in her backless dress and the ceremony was just beautiful. Friends and family spilled out into the conservatory after the ceremony to enjoy canapes and champagne- – while we captured the bride and groom within the grounds having a few moments as the new Mr & Mrs Whyte.
The reception was a cracker. The cake was simple with a highland theme. After the dinner, tables were cleared and this made way for the London covers band The Conchords to set up. The first dance was not your tradtional one, Allison and Sean took to the floor and started to perform the highland fling! All family and friends were invited to join them part way through (I even had a go myself)……Allison and Sean, a pleausre to photograph your wedding on yout very special day. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Whyte.
