I photographed this super cool couple back in August on their wedding day. It was amazing, they were amazing – everything really was amazing. On the run up to their special day it was all a bit frantic with preparation (as they did most of it themselves). So they preferred their pre wedding photoshoot as a post wedding photoshoot. No problem!
Forward wind a couple of months and we find ourselves in Autumn. We spoke about various locations and they both decided on the backdrop of Highgate Ceremony for the photoshoot.
It’s a super interesting place, one of England’s greatest treasures. It has some of the finest funerary architecture in the country – and a place I had never been before. It really is a place of peace and contemplation, with the most romantic scenery of trees and wildlife. If you can, check it out.
I wish I could photograph these two every week! They are great fun to work with and really gave me a great idea of the type of images they were after. They both wanted some real ‘Autumnal images’ with as many different colours of Autumn, coupled with some more contemporary images. They rocked it like a couple of rock stars!
