The Ceremony: Church

Driving through the Surrey Hills to get to the church, I knew it was going to be a cracker of a day. As I arrived Samuel and his best men were pacing up and down in-between greeting their guests. They all looked dashing. I was lucky enough to work with the amazing Nadine Van Bilijon on this wedding second shooting. The church is one of the smallest and cutest I have had the pleasure of photographing – they also have the most amazing cornfield next door, so I took the boys for some pre-wedding photos (it also helped clam their nerves).

The Venue: Farnham Castle, Surrey

Samuel and Joanna chose the stunning Farnham Castle as their wedding venue. The Bishop started building Farnham Castle in 1138 – so it’s steeped in history. They had the whole place to themselves for the day, and had giant jenga and boules for guests to play on the lawn. The room was simply elegant with incredible table flowers. A superb venue with great backdrops for wedding photography.

The Wedding Day: Stunning and sunny = Happy Couple

It had lashed with rain the day before, and again on the Saturday – so Samuel and Joanna were super lucky with glorious sunshine all day. As the organist started to play Joanna appeared with her dad on her side. I shed a tear of two and relished the chance to photograph this very special moment. Joanna looked absolutley stunning in her dress.

Samuel and Joanna: Congratulations!

There were emotional specches and it was a great day and evening. They all had ‘moves like Jagger’ as they took to the dance floor and partied until the early hours. Congratulations to you both you lovely couple.
