Isabella Plantation within Richmond Park was our destination for Chelsea and James’s pre wedding photoshoot. I just love Isabella Plantation as it’s better than any flower show at this time of year and it’s completely free! There are many people that go to Richmond Park and have never visited Isabella Plantation, and I urge you to check it out.
Chelsea used to come here for picnics with her family when she was younger so there is a really lovely connection with this place. They are both getting married at Ham Polo Club round the corner in August and staying at the fabulous Petersham Hotel.
We were blessed with sunny weather for the photoshoot and they were more than happy to get there early to miss the crowds that usually arrive by 11am. It’s a very magical place. Isabella Plantation is a 40 acre wooded garden in the middle of Richmond Park. Within the gardens are the National Collection of Wilson 50 Kurume Azaelas, large collections of Rhododendrons and Camellias, plus many other rare and unusual trees and shrubs which provide interest all year round. It’s a real sight in the months of July and August when in full bloom.
Chelsea and James were fabulous on their photoshoot. James actually loved being photographed, creating his own awesome poses that worked very well indeed.
Chelsea and James are a gorgeous young couple who will be amazing to photograph on their big day in August. They are totally smitten with each other and this really comes out in their images. Thanks to you both for making the photoshoot so enjoyable! See you both again at the end of August x
