Wow and double wow. I love Pembroke Lodge, I can normally be found with a take away cup of coffee sitting on their iron white seats just admiring the incredible view – so I was so happy when Victoria and Paul had chosen this for their venue. The ceremony room was decorated in white, white sheets filled the ceiling as drapes, white paper pom poms and elegant white silk bows on every chair. A beautiful clean backdrop to take images of stunning Victoria and her handsome groom Paul.
Pembroke Lodge is a magnificent listed Georgian Mansion that has been lovingly restored to provide first class facilities for weddings. The Lodge is situated at the highest point in Richmond Park with spectacular views over the Thames Valley to the west. Richmond Park is the largest, and to many, the most beautiful Park in London as it comprises of 2300 acres of totally unspoilt classic English parkland with some 650 deer who roam freely in this tranquil area. You can imagine how beautiful this place is….like being in a movie! The day was simply amazing.
Victoria’s dress was something really special, she looked super beautiful in her silk gown. The sun shone through the Thames valley all day, and we were able to sneek off just before dinner to capture some intimate moments of Victoria and Paul as husband and wife. A fairytale styled day that I will remember for a long time to come.
The reception was a fabulous. Seven courses, champagne flowing and some ‘dad’ dancing way into the evening. Victoria and Paul, a real pleasure to photograph your very special day. I wish you all the happiness together in your new chapter in life together.
