It’s pre wedding photo shoot season alright! This week was the turn for the uber cool Alice and Sam. They told me they were slightly hungover when they arrived. To me they looked fabulous, and acted like something out of a fashion shoot for a magazine. Boom.
What makes a great pre wedding photo shoot? An area that has lots of different spaces and places to work with is a good start. The light. It’s great if there is a glimmer of sunlight to work with as this can really enhance the image. The couple. I was lucky enough to work with Alice and Tom.
Feeling comfortable. It’s important that you feel comfortable in what you are wearing – Alice and Tom certainly nailed that. Avoiding ‘people heavy’ areas. I love meeting for sunrise or very early morning photo shoots. It’s like you have the whole place to yourselves and acts as a canvas for the images.
A super cool couple, they really did not want any images that were too ‘posed’ or had a cheesy, touchy feel to them. Hence why on this pre wedding photoshoot – at times they are standing apart.
I chose the area of Little Venice for them as they have ordered a signing book. A signing book is a lovely way to display your favourite pre wedding photo shoot images – and for your friends and family to write lovely messages in on your big day.
Little Venice is a pre wedding photo shoot dream. I love the canal, the concrete areas and some of the coffee shops in and around this area.
Alice and Tom booked me at The National Wedding Show last year and it was fab to see them one year on.
Alice and Tom were brilliant. They went with the flow completely. They are both getting married in July this year and I cannot wait for this one.
Thanks for being super cool you two – here are some of my favourites from your pre wedding photo shoot.
