I met Bryony and Jonathan at Little Venice for their pre wedding photo shoot. I had never been to Little Venice before and what a gem of a place this is! It has everything you could wish for for a pre wedding photo shoot. Great scenery, little contemporary spaces, and of course the canal.
Bryony booked me at The National Wedding Show last year and it was fab to see her one year on. We met at 8am in the morning to take advantage of this area being very quiet. And it was, perfect timing.
Apart from the obvious images including the gorgeous canal and barges, there are some great spaces to work with here.
Bryony and Jonathan were completely natural and totally in love. They had brought some flasks of coffee with them and we had regular coffee stops. What makes a great pre wedding photo shoot? An area that has lots of different areas to work with. The light. It’s best if there is some sunlight to work with as this can really enhance the image. We were lucky enough to get some gorgeous morning sun peek through here on occasion.
Coffee. You need coffee that early in the morning!
Feeling comfortable. It’s important that you feel comfortable in what you are wearing – Bryony and Tom certainly nailed that. Avoiding ‘people heavy’ areas. I love meeting for sunrise or very early morning photo shoots. It’s like you have the whole place to yourselves and acts as a canvas for the images.
Bryony and Jonathan were brilliant. They went with the flow completely. They are both getting married at the end of May this year at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel and cannot wait for this one.
Thanks for being super cool you two – here are some of my favourites from your pre wedding photo shoot.
