The Old Royal Naval College is a venue that is truly special. It’s not just the way the team decorate the entire venue. It’s an architectural masterpiece! It’s just as special as Chalene and Geoff. The kindest most gorgeous couple a photographer could meet.
They had known each other for three years. They met online. Jeff proposed in the desert in Dubai – boom!
Jeff and Chalene have an amazing selection of family and friends. 310 to be exact altogether! So at this point I would like to thank my amazing second photographer Carine Bea – who helped me capture the emotion of this fabulous day.
It’s great having a second photographer as we can capture so much more throughout the day.
It was almost 28 degrees the day of Jeff & Chalene’s wedding. It was a scorcher! There were plenty of fans on hand to ensure everyone kept as cool as possible. So to the Old Royal Naval College. I was blown away when I first visited this venue.
The centrepiece of the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site, the classical buildings of the Old Royal Naval College were designed by England’s greatest architects and are considered amongst the finest in Europe. Featuring the sumptuous Painted Hall and the neo-classical Chapel, the site has seen a variety of uses, as Greenwich Palace, the Royal Naval Hospital of Seamen and then the Royal Naval College.
It was a hell of a backdrop for their wedding and reception alright.
Chalene and Jeff are doing something ultra spectacular for their honeymoon too. In fact – they are still on it. They left a week after their wedding to tour the world taking in places such as Peru, Mexico, Fiji, Dubai, Australia and many more.
Even on their honey moon lovely Chalene and Jeff still managed to send me this awesome review:
“The photos that Laura took of our wedding are absolutely incredible! We love them and are so grateful for her exceptional professionalism, creativity, and genuine thought and care that she brought to our wedding day. Friends and family have been so complimentary of the photos, and have also commented on how long Laura stayed on the day…we’re so lucky to have images that let us relive every moment!
Thank you Laura (and Carine!) x”
Chalene and Jeff it was my entire pleasure to photograph your incredible day. I hope you have many adventures on your travels and look forward to hearing from you when you return in person! xx
